Shein is acquiring Everlane from majority owner L Catterton in a deal valued at $100 million. The board approved the sale on Saturday. Everlane, built on radical transparency and sustainability, faced a $90 million debt load. Common stockholders will receive no payout as the DTC brand shifts to fast-fashion ownership. (Read More)
2. Boot Barn Wraps Record Fiscal 2026 With Strong Sales Growth
Boot Barn reported record fiscal 2026 results with net sales rising 17.9% to $2.254 billion and same-store sales up 7.2%. The Western retailer opened 80 new stores during the year for a total of 539 locations. 3. Sprouts Farmers Market Plans to Open First Ohio Store in 2028
Sprouts Farmers Market signed a lease for its first Ohio location in Columbus, set to open in 2028, marking its 26th state. The specialty grocer plans to open at least 40 new stores by the end of 2026 and has nearly 150 new locations approved with over 105 executed leases as it continues its aggressive expansion strategy. 4. Bed Bath & Beyond Launches First Co-Branded Container Store
Bed Bath & Beyond opened its first co-branded store with The Container Store in Fort Worth, Texas, blending home goods and organizational products by room.
