- John Furner, former Sam’s Club CEO, will take the reins as president and CEO of Walmart effective November 1st. Furner will partner with Walmart U.S. e-commerce CEO Marc Lore to deliver a seamless omnichannel experience for Walmart’s U.S. customers.
- Levi’s plans to open 100 more company-owned stores as wholesale declines to only 30% of sales. The company is also moving to partner with more “premium” retailers, expand its customization offerings, and update its digital approach.
