2. Walmart Becomes First to Deliver Refrigerated and Reconstituted Prescriptions Nationwide
Walmart expands its Same-Day Pharmacy Delivery nationwide to include refrigerated and reconstituted medications like insulin and GLP-1s, becoming the first retailer to deliver these prescriptions alongside groceries in orders. 3. Saks Global Explores $1 Billion Sale of 49% Bergdorf Goodman Stake
Saks Global is in talks to sell a 49% stake in luxury retailer Bergdorf Goodman for approximately $1 billion to help pay down debt from its $2.65 billion Neiman Marcus acquisition. At least four bidders, including Middle Eastern sovereign wealth funds, are actively interested in the potential deal. (Read More)
4. Amazon Expands Grocery Delivery in Florida Through Winn-Dixie Partnership
Amazon has significantly expanded its grocery delivery service in Jacksonville and Orlando, Florida, through a strategic new partnership with Winn-Dixie. Customers can now access over 16,000 Winn-Dixie grocery items via Amazon’s delivery platform, with free delivery on orders over $25 and also integrated rewards programs available. (Read More)
5. Sam’s Club Overtakes Costco in Customer Satisfaction Rankings
Sam’s Club overtook Costco as America’s top wholesale club for customer satisfaction, scoring 85 out of 100 versus Costco’s 82 with a four-point increase. The breakthrough came from their popular Scan & Go mobile checkout system, which lets customers scan and pay via app, skipping traditional checkout lines entirely. (Read More)
