Omni Talk Retail’s Chris Walton and Anne Mezzenga traveled to Utrecht, Netherlands to bring you a sneak peek demonstration of Aldi Nord’s new autonomous store powered by Trigo.
The store is a first of its kind for the grocery giant and is Trigo’s largest implementation to date.
After scanning their app to enter the store, customers can then shop a full variety of grocery items, including everything from self-dispensing beverages, bakery, bulk produce items, to age-restricted items, like alcohol.
