- Walmart is piloting a new concept dubbed “Walmart Health” in Dallas. The location is adjacent to a typical store, but in a separate building for privacy, and will offer dental, primary care, counseling, labs, x-rays and other services. The retailer stated they, “will provide low, transparent pricing for key health services for local customers. We look forward to sharing more details when the facility opens next month.”
- Build-A-Bear workshop is partnering with 2,000 Walmart stores to celebrate National Teddy Bear Day. Facing traffic challenges at their mall locations, the partnership provides the teddy bear retailer a larger footprint to reach customers while, offering a differentiated experience at the world’s largest retailer.
- Bed Bath & Beyond has reportedly partnered with Goldman Sachs to explore the sale of several of its core businesses as well as, the entire the company.
