Publix Super Markets is entering the greater Cincinnati area after signing a lease for its sixth Kentucky store, according to an email from the grocer.
The Boone, Kentucky, location will span 55,701 square feet and operate adjacent to a Publix Liquors, which sells beer, wine and spirits. Projected to open in 2025, the store will be located at the Triple Crown Shopping Center at the southwest corner of Triple Crown Blvd. and Richwood Road.
Florida-based Publix is continuing to expand in the Bluegrass State. It has three stores set to open in Louisville, Kentucky — the first of which will debut in January at the Terra Crossing Shopping Center at 2500 Terra Crossing Blvd., according to a local news report.
