Two Six Flags theme park locations now feature cashierless stores equipped with Amazon ‘Just Walk Out’ technology.
The Six Flags Magic Mountain park in Los Angeles is opening a “Quick Six” concessions store featuring Amazon’s Just Walk Out checkout-free shopping technology on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023. It follows the Just Walk Out-enabled Quick Six store which opened at the Six Flags Grezt Adventure park in Jackson Township, N.J. during Memorial Day weekend 2023.
This strategic collaboration between Six Flags, Amazon and Coca-Cola enables customers to enter the store using their credit card at the entry gate. The Just Walk Out technology leverages a combination of computer vision, sensor fusion deep learning and generative AI to detect what shoppers take from or return to the shelves and creates a virtual shopping session.
