Macy’s is expanding its off-mall store concept into new regions — and with a new nameplate.
The department store giant will open its first-ever small-format locations in the Northeast and West in the fall, in Boston, Las Vegas and San Diego. (See end of article for more location information.) The expansion also includes Macy’s third small-format store in the Mideast, in Highland, Ind.
While Macy’s eight previous small-format stores are called Market by Macy’s, the upcoming small-format stores will bear only the iconic Macy’s nameplate.
