The supermarket giant has been trialling a new cutting edge system which sees items automatically added to a digital shopping basket
And a Tesco Express store in central London has just reopened following a refurbishment equipped with new technologies, with more stores promised in the coming months and years.
Whilst the new technology is not yet up and running, new pay gates and ceiling cameras have been installed, making the High Holborn Express destined to be the company’s first public-facing ‘Just Walk Out’ store.
