CVS Pharmacy is expanding upon a partnership with Shipt to streamline prescription delivery for members of its paid CarePass program.
The retail division of CVS Health initially launched same-day delivery prescription fulfilled by Shipt in April 2019. For a $7.99 delivery fee, Shipt will deliver digital medication orders within hours. Now, eligible members of CVS CarePass can have eligible prescription orders delivered in the same time frame with no additional fee.
CarePass members can also add everyday wellness essentials to their free same-day prescription delivery, including select items from categories like vitamins, digestive health, pain relief, first aid, and grocery. Non-CarePass members can still receive same-day prescription delivery via Shipt for $7.99.
