Verishop is integrating with iOS to enable users to hold video chats while also exploring places to shop, the company announced in a press release Tuesday (Dec 15).
Shop Party, a new app feature, allows consumers to hang out and shop with their friends online, in one place, with Verishop. Users can get together over video chat and see what items others are browsing, the company said in the release. The idea is to make online shopping a more social experience.
“Until now, online shopping has been lonely,” the release stated. “It’s brought the benefits of accessing a wide variety of products with the convenience of being shipped to your door — but it’s stripped out all human connection. With Shop Party, we’re bringing you all three.”
