- The Kardashians will be selling their used clothing in an online store, dubbed Kardashian Kloset, which allows consumers to buy designer items out of the family’s wardrobes. Sales are planned to start Friday, October 3rd.
- Lebron James and Maverick Carter are launching an e-commerce site as part of their Uninterrupted media company which, currently has a popular series on HBO. The firm aims to represent empowerment and has partnered with Nike to sell exclusive shoes, hoodies, hats, socks and other merchandise through their store.
- The largest shopping mall operator in the U.S., Simon Property Group, has invested $280 million for 50% ownership in the Rue Gilt Groupe. They plan to bring outlet shopping to the internet via their new site, ShopPremiumOutlets.com, which has been in testing since March and features over 2,000 brands.
Chris Walton is an accomplished Senior Executive with nearly 20 years of success within the retail and retail technology industries. He is well-versed in merchandising, store operations, inventory management, product design, forecasting, e-commerce, pricing and promotions, and tech product development.
Chris was most recently a Vice President with Target, where he led the retailer’s Store of the Future project and also ran the Target’s home furnishing division for e-commerce. He previously worked for GAP, Inc., as a Distribution Analyst and Manager.
Chris holds a BA in Economics and History from Stanford University, and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
