- Toys R Us is partnering with Candytopia to create two experiential pop ups in Atlanta and Chicago. The locations are set to open in October and slated to house more than ten play rooms and installations.
- Madison Reed, the hair color start up, is planning on opening 500 franchise and 100 company owned stores in the next four years. The firm sells home hair-coloring kits online and its physical locations offer coloring services exclusively which, aim to provide them faster and more affordably than salons.
- Amazon is committing to reach a net zero carbon target set by the Paris Agreement by 2040, a full ten years earlier than the agreement’s stated goal. As part of that plan, the retailer is ordering 100,000 electric vans from manufacturer Rivian with plans to start delivering packages with the vehicles as early as 2021.
