- Target has announced the nationwide roll out of its loyalty program, Target Circle, which amassed 2 million customers in test cities since it started in March 2018. The program gives 1% back on purchases, personalized deals, early access to sales, and lets customers vote on Target’s charitable giving.
- At Home, the low price seller of home products with 206 stores, has announced they are decreasing their store growth rate from the recent 20% per year mark down to 10% to focus on ecommerce. The retailer is planning on starting their ecommerce efforts in January with buy online and pick up in store services.
- Kohl’s has announced that Sona Chawla is leaving her post as president in mid-October. Also, Paul Gaffney was named to the Chief Technology Officer role who previously held the same title at Dick’s Sporting Goods.
